Why do the Mets do it.

It, is pitch to Burrell. He has killed the Mets for longer than I care to remember. But the Mets insist on pitching to him. I wouldn't throw anything even near the plate to him. He's hit 2 home runs today and now 41 for his career against the Mets. This goes along with 102 RBI. Why would he even see a pitch to hit? Sometimes I just have to shake my head.
