What a night for Captain Red A-s!!!! 2 home runs and 7 RBI. I'm glad to see Lo Duca having a big night. All too often he seems to be the victim of bad luck. Yesterday he scorched the ball every time up, and got nothing for it.
Two of Guinness's favorite players have also been getting on base. Green has 3 hits and 2 RBI and Gotay has 3 walks and 1 hit too. Not bad for players that Willie seems to ignore too often. It's good to see them get a chance to contribute to this stretch run of the Mets. I believe both will be very important in the weeks to come. Both have even played a good game in the field.
Good Golly Ollie. What happened? You were going so well and then started to get flustered. Delgado should have caught the ball from Pauly, and then everything went south. That is one aspect of Perez that I hope Pedro M. can help him with. He seems to let misplays and errors bother him on the mound. If he can just keep his focus when things go awry, he'll become so much tougher on the mound.
This could soon be the 1st 5 game winning streak of the season. It's good to see the Mets following my "7 rules .." If only they could manage to do all 7 in one game, I'd sleep alot easier. They sometimes try my Patience.
